1 in 3 women have experienced physical violence at home, often repeatedly

Between 80 and 100 Australian women die at the hands of their male partners every year.

During the period 2006 to 2012 there was an average of 23 deaths a year in QLD linked to domestic and family violence.


We are the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, stretching from the Queensland & New South Wales border, north to Gin Gin and west to Eidsvold and Gatton.  We, along with other churches are making a stance against domestic and family violence.
